I apologize for my weak blogging efforts. It’s been transitional to say the least with the new arrival, and I don’t want to bore you with blogs on diapers or pictures of more bootleg Kaws toys from China. I’ll be a home hermit for a minute. Many visitors coming in and out, too. Christian, Jennifer, and Classic came by to see Elijah and show us Endless Hosoi, who was born only several days before. This is the funny thing- even in the quietness of our home, Hosoi’s hand will never find rest from Sharpie action. Good neighbor and HB contributor Cmd-S was in his words “oober hyped” to get an old original 1980’s laminated poster signed by Holmes.

Ray has been getting into shooting and printing his own photos recently. From what he has shown me it appears he is a quick learner.

Something’s happening here, What it is ain’t exactly clear, There’s a man with a gun over there, telling me I’ve got to beware…

Went to Venice to visit my friend Patty Perreira. She was the former designer of Oliver Peoples/Paul Smith. Thomas and I went out to scope out a location for our future event with Nike SB coming in the near future. She has hanging in her house a few original pieces from Andy Warhol. Growing up being a huge Stones fan this was pretty amazing to see. The Rolling Stones ‘Sticky Fingers’ cover done by Andy Warhol…the zipper actually works.

Oh, you’re talking about Bucky. I forget that the world knows my friend here as Joey Brezinski or Jojo. He will always go down in my memoirs as Bucky, or Buck One (When everyone at Chaffey went through their tagging phase.) I came across this gif on the Adio blog that Bucky facebooked me today. Don’t you just love gifs? I’ve known Buck since he was probably 11. He would get dropped off at Chaffey on the dot everyday to get his shred on- a genuine manual and ledge disciple. And from the looks of his part in the most recent TWS vid, he has not slowed down a bit. Props, Joey. Nice ab workout.

My wife gave birth to our first son, Elijah, last week. Our hospital room and home has received special deliveries of flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Awesome. But yesterday, right after another flower delivery, came another hand delivered gift at my doorstep. Although it had no correlation to our son’s celebration gifts, I am still hyped enough to tell you about it. Thanks, Skypage.

This is in response to all the feedback we’ve been getting asking two things: 1) Where can I get it? Because I gotta get it or 2) online store coming soon? i.e. I live in Australia, Mexico, etc. We really appreciate all the positive feedback, however none of it would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the Stockists that are supporting and carrying Heel Bruise – HUF, POETS, SUPREME, 35th, LEILOW, and several others.

We have no plans for an online store in the immediate future, but some of the shops that carry Heel Bruise have online and will ship to you- even if you’re in Buenos Aires. Just Call. Coming soon to SAINT ALFRED.

Friday night was the Transworld Skateboarding Awards in Los Angeles with the following of the premiere “Right Foot Forward”. It was awesome to see Christian Hosoi win the Legends award and to hear him talk about his life. RFF is one to purchase and especially for my personal favorite…Matt Beach!

Caught the premiere for the Feel Mode 2 video last night in downtown LA. Feel Mode is a video series featuring today’s graffiti writers, lots of raw footage, mostly of bombing done in various cities. Earlier this year I contributed to the project by working up some titles for it. Good to see it all done and playing on the big screen.

Meet Marvin Penner, from Vernon, British Columbia. A pharmacist by trade, and 100% skateboarder. Haven’t seen him in eight years until this week. I like his whole kit.

Debacle premiered at The Montalban last night in Hollywood. With names Jon Humphries and Jason Hernandez as directors there was no doubt that the video was gonna be good. Shane O’Neil, Theotis Beasley and Grant Taylor have some amazing footage. Its funny now that ams are as good as pros.
