REFUGE IN THE DIRTY SOUTH

About a month ago I found out we’ve accumulated over 180,000 airlines miles, so with that we decided to take a much needed rest- this time to the Carolinas. To be specific thirty minutes outside Charlotte in Waxhaw, birthplace to President Andrew Jackson and home to many toothless wonders. Doesn’t get more country than this, and we love every bit of it. Much thanks to the Gruber’s for the southern hospitality. Even though I’m flying home tomorrow to a stack of work, this trip is one of the best detours from the rat race we’ve experienced yet.
